In manga, realistic basically means go somewhat into detail, but don't try to make it exact.?

Are you saying "where"? What do you mean? This is Manga, not a real portrait. This is well proportionate compared to a real human's body and face. Defined features, and the eye's aren't that bulgy. There's a margin between Manga and real life, when you cross that margin it's not? Manga anymore.

I suppose it's as realistic as manga gets without going "pseudo" manga. Realism in this case is probably more based on semi-correct face canon and proportions. Just to clarify. Notice the "Realistic" in the title of this video implies what? I just said.

Everyone can draw....it just takes a s**tload of practice, patience, and dedication. You can't expect to draw a perfect picture when? it's your first time drawing :P Excellent tutorial by the way! :D
